I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Chapman University in 1991 and have been working in the tax and accounting field for most of the past 20 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, from the big public firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, to the small CPA practice. I have worked in large corporations, like DaVita, Inc. in Tacoma, Washington, to small companies where I handled every aspect of their accounting. These positions have provided me with a well-rounded, real-life education in the field of taxation and accounting.

I am also the mother of three young children. All of them are bright and beautiful, but only one of them has autism. He has taught me so much in the six years I've had the privilege of raising him, and he continues to amaze and teach me on a daily basis. Because of him, I am an active part of Autism Awareness and research organizations. Educating my community about autism has become a passion of mine as I believe it is vital to my son's future happiness.

If you have a tax question, or a question about Autism, feel free to ask.
